THE TOY

One of the most monumental briefs of our career’s so far came in an e-mail from Handi co-founder and CEO Heather Morrison - “name the world’s first sex toy for disabled people”.

Holy smokes! Our heads started to race. This is no small feat, if anything, this toy was a giant leap in sexual progression of the human species, a symbol of inclusivity and equal rights for all - the weight of this gigantic pool-noodle-shaped toy was bearing down on our shoulders.

But the importance of the name was only equalled by it’s simplicity, for it was to be an elegant pun from the toggle of an electric wheelchair -
